About Us

Tomas Leszczynski, the Wall Street Artist™, creates art based on the market data of publicly traded securities. Tomas is a President and CEO of Santoren, a Registered Investment Advisor company.

Tomas holds Summa Sum Laudae Masters of Fine Arts degree. He began his art education at the School of Fine Arts in Aix-en-Provence, a short walk from the studio of Cezanne. Tomas showed his work at art galleries in the United States and Europe. His artwork is in private collections in the United States, Europe and Japan. His past work samples.

Tomas starts his Wall Street art with a precise plotting of market data. He designed software to help him extract such data and convert it into a graphic representation. He often uses monthly price bars with the intersecting daily prices of securities. The selection of technical indicators is purely artistic, but their position is determined by the real data. These are, after all, the portraits of the companies and it is the true data which determines the location of lines.

Tomas chooses shapes of lines, their dynamic and color. He likes to use moving averages of various values, Bollinger bands, MACD indicators. A long process of creating dynamics of lines and color compositions follows.

Wall Street sculptures design culminates in a CAD drawing of the final composition. Engineering elements required for the final assembly are added; the sculptures are assembled with screws. Finally, individual metal forms are cut in a highly precise manner. The metal parts are then plated or painted using various technologies.

Old masters used to put symbols of the profession of their models on the canvas. Tomas likes to include a short printout about the company near sculptures to help us understand what the company does.

Before receiving MFA Tomas was studying Theoretical Mathematics at the University of Warsaw. He was a winner of the National Math Olympics. Tomas founded one of the first computer graphics studios in New York, later merged into business management and marketing company, Santoren. He also founded MugToGo Inc and Flexiskates, the sport simulating skiing on the pavement. He desiged various products and services, including Santorea™, Wall Stret at the Galleries™, and Pixoren™.

Tomas speaks 4 languages and holds 2 US patents and 6 Patents pending. He is an expert in most graphics and business software and he programs in several computer languages. Tomas is an ocean sailor (currently a member of a sailing racing crew in New York), an alpine ski racer and a former ski racing coach, a tennis player and a private pilot.
